NEW! The 3rd issue in The Natural World series which was nominated for a Maisie Kukoc Award for Comics Inspiration at the Stumptown Comics Fest this year.
In this issue: Walter returns to the forest with great trepidation, and for good reason. The bandits loose track of their booty. The Reeve cannot undo what he has begun.
For now, you can click on the page thumbnails for a 4-page preview of this issue. You can order all of The Natural World from the books page. As soon as I start working on the 4th issue I will start posting the entire story here on my blog, so check back for that and more sketchbook pages very soon.

This offshoot of the Natural World story is my contribution to the tenth issue of Tugboat Press’s excellent anthology, Papercutter. Supernatural family ties. I’m posting a 3-page excerpt here, but the story is 15 pages in total. Also featured in this issue of Papercutter, the talented Minty Lewis and Jesse Reklaw.

Pocket-sized make-it-up-as-you-go comics featuring sea monsters, game show hosts, the forces of nature, and a stroll through deserted sections of Hannover, Germany.
The mini-comic is currently out of print. Maybe I will print some more up if I get around to producing the second issue. In the meantime, you can read the comic in its entirety here online.

Originally published in round two of MapJam comic. What is a MapJam comic? It is the brainchild of Isaac Cates and Mike Wenthe. Beyond that, it gets complicated. Let me direct you to Isaac and Mike’s site for the definitive explanation.
